Rich Phillips, President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and Chief Executive Officer for Incentium, Rich Phillips is responsible for the financial and overall operational performance of one of the country’s most progressive customer acquisition, rebate, incentive, and loyalty service providers. Based at Incentium’s global headquarters in Chattanooga, TN, Phillips has executive management oversight of a growing client portfolio consisting of Fortune 100+ clients served by an employee/partner base located throughout the world. Phillips, a veteran business services executive, joined the company in March, 2010.
Prior to his role at Incentium, Phillips was President of Maritz Loyalty and Motivation, where he championed pioneering client innovation and achieved strong business results. Phillips has also served as a senior executive in multiple business services companies spanning a variety of industries. His entrepreneurial career includes serving as President of Primary Network Communications, a high-tech telecommunications firm, where he was recognized by the Smithsonian Institution for his innovation in the field of advanced communications services.
A respected leader in the loyalty and incentive industry, Phillips is active in speaking engagements and has been published in numerous business publications.
Phillips holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University, a Master of Information Management from Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Patrick Gildea, Chief Financial Officer
Patrick Gildea joined Incentium in October of 2008. In his capacity as CFO, Mr. Gildea is responsible for accounting, administration, corporate development and finance. Mr. Gildea comes to Incentium with an extensive background in corporate finance, M&A and prepaid. Prior to joining Incentium, he served as Group Vice President at Blackhawk Network, the largest distributor of prepaid cards in the U.S. Prior to this, Mr. Gildea worked as an investment banker focused on technology M&A first at Credit Suisse First Boston and more recently at Silicon Valley Bank. In addition, Mr. Gildea has also served as Director of Corporate Development at IC Media where he assisted in raising venture capital and eventually exiting through a strategic sale of the business. Mr. Gildea began his career as a financial auditor and consultant in Arthur Andersen's Assurance and Technology Risk Consulting Practices. Mr. Gildea is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California and has held Series 7 and 63 licenses in the US and Japan. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California's Leventhal School of Accounting and a certificate degree in Japanese from Sophia University's School of Comparative Culture.
Greg Jones, Senior Vice President of Operations
Greg Jones joined Incentium as Senior Vice President of Operations in February of 2006. Mr. Jones is responsible for leading all operational aspects of the business which includes: Information Technology, Production and Fulfillment, Project Implementation and Customer Service. Prior to joining Incentium, Mr. Jones spent 13 years as the President of Intelligent Systems and Networking and its subsidiary, New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Chattanooga – a franchise unit of New Horizons. Under his leadership, Intelligent Systems and Networking grew to be the largest systems integrator in the Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia regions. Mr. Jones began his career with the Tennessee Valley Authority, where he spent 13 years serving various positions in the IS department, including Manager of Data Communications and Corporate Planning Director. Mr. Jones has served in several community organizations and is a Board Member of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Jones has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Sue Butler, Chief Marketing Officer
Sue Butler serves as Incentium’s Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for the company's global marketing operations. She leads the company's efforts on strategy and planning, product development, marketing programs, brand management, and corporate sponsorships. She is also responsible for all company communications and public relations activities.
Ms. Butler speaks frequently on business growth strategies, communications, and marketing, and is regarded as a leader in new product innovation within the customer acquisition, rebate and incentive space.
Prior to joining Incentium, Butler led a private consulting practice specializing in strategic business development and marketing. During her accomplished career, she has designed and implemented award-winning programs for many Fortune 100 companies. Butler has also held senior management positions with Maritz, Citbank and General American.
Thomas Venable, Senior Vice President of Sales and Chief Revenue Officer
Tom Venable joined Incentium in January 2010 as the Senior Vice President of Sales. Mr. Venable is responsible for all revenue generating activities and the associated staff at Incentium.
Prior to joining the Company, he served as Vice President of Strategic Clients for Digital River. While at Digital River, he also held sales leadership positions including Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Additionally, his extensive sales and management background includes terms as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at InnoCentive and as the Senior Vice President of Gelco Information Network. He has also assisted with the start up of numerous technology companies.
Mr. Venable holds an economics degree from the University of Minnesota. In addition to having a passion for web-based business models, he is actively involved in local charities and youth athletic programs.
